Our story

Hi — I’m Tom, founder of Future Château.

I love wine. The flavour, the ritual, the way it turns a good meal into a great evening.

But over the last few years, I realised I wasn’t drinking it as often as I wanted. Too much alcohol. Too many calories. Too many next-day regrets.

And when I looked for a solution — a wine that still tasted like wine, but with less alcohol — I couldn’t find one. Lower-alcohol wines just didn’t cut it. They were sweet, flat, or thin. A compromise.

So I started Future Château: a range of sessionable wines (5% ABV) made for people like me. People who love wine, but want a little more control over how it fits into their life.

Five years. Thousands of trials.

From London to Bordeaux to the Aussie outback...

I spent five years developing these wines. The mission was always clear: full flavour, traditional winemaking, just with a lot less alcohol.

No shortcuts, no sweeteners, no weird aftertaste. Just genuinely delicious wine — that happens to be 5% ABV.

We’re here to build the first iconic low-alcohol wine brand — made for a time when alcohol exists, and hangovers are a thing of the past.

Because it turns out when wine actually tastes like wine, but is lower in alcohol… you find more moments to drink it, not fewer.

The result? Three wines I’m incredibly proud of.
