Our original three low-alcohol, full-flavour wines: Sparkling, Sauvignon Vermentino, and Syrah Grenache. These wines were great, they won lots of awards, but they’re not as good as the newer vintage. I was pretty cost-constrained when I made them and had to compromise on grapes and winemaking that weren’t exactly what I wanted.

Originally sold for £19.99, these have been reduced to £13.99 while stocks last.

  • Only 5% alcohol
  • Grown-up taste (nothing sweet or syrupy here), perfect as a sessionable white wine for weeknights, picnics, and casual aperitif moments

Grown, not manufactured

Don’t call us “low alcohol” or “mid-strength”. That kind of wine is made by sending full strength wine away to an ethanol plant to have the alcohol stripped out, taking flavour and texture with it. Future Chateau works differently, creating wines that are naturally lighter from the very beginning, with every stage happening at the winery.

FAQs

Everything you might want to know before you open a bottle.

What is Future Château?
Wine. Properly made, in the vineyard, in Northern Victoria. Sparkling, Reserve Rouge, Reserve Blanc, and Blush Rosé — all 6.5% ABV.
Why 6.5%?
Because that’s the strength that lets you drink wine on a Tuesday and still feel like yourself on Wednesday. Half the alcohol of a normal bottle, all the wine.
How is it made?
From the vineyard up. We grow and pick grapes specifically for this style — we don’t just take a finished wine and strip the alcohol out. No spinning cones, no reverse osmosis. Just real winemaking. See more detail in the 'How we make wine' page.
Is it sustainable?
Yes, we are proud to be certified under the Sustainable Winegrowers Australia program.
Will it taste like wine?
Yes. The Sparkling has toast and texture. The Rouge has tannin and grip. The Blanc has weight. The Rosé is dry and savoury. None of it tastes like a compromise.
Are the wines vegan?
Yes, all four.
Calories?
Lower than standard wine — alcohol is the calorie driver. 39 kcal per glass vs around 130 in standard wine.
